The “Fyre Coral View Pop-Up in Utila” is set for September 3 to September 10 on the small, underdeveloped island of Utila, Honduras. Following recent news about FYRE Hotels putting their intellectual property up for sale, a message was received. A beach resort and the island of Utila had been following the headlines, and they proposed an idea to FYRE. They want Fyre to highlight this undiscovered gem, offering unique experiences, enjoying life on the edge of the reef, and bringing global attention to this hidden paradise.

It was an obvious choice for us, so without further ado, FYRE is rekindling its initial flame,” the statement went on. “Starting early September, FYRE will be back in the Caribbean with the FYRE Resort Pop-Up at Coral View Utila – a week-long getaway that combines excitement, spontaneity, and paradise. Historically speaking, the first Fyre Festival that took place in 2017 was held on the Bahamian island of Great Exuma.

As a gamer, I was eagerly anticipating the second installment of Fyre Fest, scheduled from April 25 to April 28 on Isla Mujeres in Mexico. Unfortunately, mid-April saw the event being postponed indefinitely, and by late April, it was officially cancelled. To add to the disappointment, McFarland announced that the brand itself was up for sale.
