A while back, Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor were slated to appear in Karan Johar’s film titled Dostana 2, but for unknown reasons, the project failed to come together. Now, it has sparked curiosity whether they might reunite, as pictures of them all together have surfaced lately, causing whispers about a future collaboration following the disappointing outcome of Dostana 2.
On January 13th, 2025, Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar were seen in Mumbai during the night hours. The actress dazzled in a sleek little black dress, while Karan Johar complemented her style in an all-black outfit. They graciously posed for photographers before Karan Johar escorted Janhvi to her vehicle.
At approximately the same period, images of Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan in Mumbai became available online. Notably, the director of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was seen wearing the same attire as when he posed with Janhvi. Simultaneously, Kartik sported a pink t-shirt, white trousers, and a blue beanie.

Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar have teamed up for the upcoming film titled “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri,” which was officially announced during Christmas of the previous year. This lighthearted romance is what they’re currently working on together.
Under the banners of Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the upcoming film “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” is helmed by director Sameer Vidwans. This production venture is brought to you by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora, with a planned theater release in the year 2026.
Apart from her other projects, Janhvi Kapoor is set to appear in the romantic comedy “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” produced by Dharma Productions. In this movie, she will be acting alongside Varun Dhawan. The film is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, who is well-known for his work on the “Dulhania” franchise. The release date for SSKTK is scheduled for April 18, 2025.
