In 2025, there are three Marvel movies scheduled, with the final one being “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” This will be the debut of this group of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (excluding John Krasinski’s Mister Fantastic appearance in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”). The film will take place on a different Earth within the Marvel multiverse, and while we know many of the actors playing their roles in the Fantastic Four, some are being kept hidden, such as Natasha Lyonne. However, after the actress from “Poker Face” revealed a fresh detail about her enigmatic character, I’m confident that I have guessed who she will portray.

At the conclusion of her interview with Vanity Fair, Lyonne discussed her roles in both “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and the upcoming Smurfs film (which is set for release this year). Here’s what she shared about her part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Six debut:

In her interview with Vanity Fair, Lyonne talked about being a part of both “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and the Smurfs film that is due out this year. This is what she mentioned regarding her role in the MCU’s first Phase Six production:

It’s quite mind-blowing, with pieces coming at us from various angles. By the way, you may know me from the Smurfs movie, and let me tell you, some things do occur there that I can’t discuss because it might get me into trouble. But if I were to hypothetically pass away by 8:45 p.m. tonight and they decide to merge all these movies together, I believe the final product would fit perfectly well.

It’s not surprising that Galactus, portrayed by Ralph Ineson, and his herald The Silver Surfer, played by Julia Garner, are expected to arrive on Earth in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” However, Natasha Lyonne‘s recent comparison of the next Fantastic Four film to Smurfs, an animated movie, might suggest that she could be providing a voiceover role in the movie. If this is true, then her character would likely be H.E.R.B.I.E., the team’s robotic companion.

Based on concept art released about a year ago, it’s expected that H.E.R.B.I.E. will appear in the series “First Steps”. While Frank Welker originally voiced the character in “The New Fantastic Four”, there’s no rule that says the same person has to voice him again.
