The prospect of seeing some of my favorite stars grace our screens in a project helmed by the son of none other than Shah Rukh Khan is nothing short of exhilarating.
Discussion about the directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s oldest son, Aryan Khan, is heating up. This 6-episode series, called Stardom, takes place within the Hindi film industry and boasts appearances from some of the biggest stars in cameos. Recent news indicates that Salman Khan, a megastar, has also been tapped for a special role in the show, making things even more intriguing.
According to a reliable source speaking to News18 Showsha, Aryan has enlisted Salman Khan to appear in an episode of his series. Salman has already completed filming for his role, and though they may not share screen time in this show, it promises to be thrilling for fans as these two prominent stars come together on Aryan’s debut production.
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have been strong allies in the entertainment industry and have consistently supported each other through thick and thin. Given that SRK’s son, Aryan, is now venturing into showbiz, it was only natural for Salman to extend his support as a true friend. According to reports, when he was presented with an opportunity for a cameo in Stardom, Salman quickly agreed because of the close relationship he shares with Shah Rukh and his family, making it an easy decision to support Aryan.
For those not familiar, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan initially acted together in Rakesh Roshan’s film Karan Arjun in 1995. Later, they appeared in each other’s movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. After a short disagreement, Shah Rukh reconnected with Salman and made a cameo in his film Tubelight. Subsequently, Salman featured in Shah Rukh’s Zero song Issaqbaazi. More recently, they collaborated in blockbuster films such as Pathaan and Tiger 3.
The upcoming series “Stardom” features leading actors Lakshya and Mona Singh, with a host of cameos from stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, and Badshah, and others. However, details about the show’s storyline remain scarce at this time, as it is being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan’s in-house production company.
