According to a reliable insider, Salman Khan is planning to complete his movie titled “Sikandar” by December 2024. Following that, he will begin work on another film directed by Atlee, not until the year 2025. This upcoming project, anticipated as an extravagant spectacle, is slated for shooting throughout the entirety of 2025. Post-production, including extensive Visual Effects (VFX), is expected to take considerable time, thus pushing back the release date. Consequently, their next film will be unveiled during the second half of 2026, foregoing the traditional Eid premiere. It’s worth noting that industry professionals were already apprised of these timelines, which explains the numerous early announcements.

Simultaneously with Shah Rukh Khan finalizing the release of King, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is anticipated to unveil his upcoming production, Love and War, on the same day. Earlier in the year, a source revealed to TopMob that “This film is a full-fledged two-lead venture requiring authentic stars. Both Kamal Haasan and Salman Khan have embraced the concept proposed by Atlee and are eager for this partnership. In principle, they’ve agreed, but they’ll sign on officially after hearing the complete script later this month.
