Actor Aamir Khan has taken on numerous diverse roles throughout his professional journey. At present, he’s getting ready for the launch of the much-awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par. Furthermore, he’s already started working on his long-cherished project, Mahabharat. Simultaneously, it appears that the renowned star is planning to go mainstream and is in discussions with the creators of Pushpa for a collaboration on a nationwide film production.
Based on a recent Mid-day report, it appears that Aamir Khan is currently in negotiations with Mythri Movie Makers for a role in a movie with nationwide appeal. For those unfamiliar, Mythri Movie Makers is the production company responsible for the Allu Arjun films “Pushpa: The Rise” and the upcoming sequel “Pushpa 2: The Rule.
According to information from the film’s origin, the creators aim to produce a mass entertainer that appeals across India. This type of filmmaking, as shown in Pushpa, is characterized by stylish action sequences and engaging dialogues. With Aamir Khan on board, they plan to shoot an unadulterated commercial movie, which will represent his return to the masala genre after a significant gap.
Yet, it’s noted that Aamir Khan may choose to be part of the movie following the launch of Sitaare Zameen Par. Should the partnership come together, preparations could potentially begin as early as 2026.
Previously, TopMob unveiled that Aamir Khan has set the premiere date for Sitaare Zameen Par as June 20, 2025. According to a reliable insider, “Aamir intends to seize the opportunity during the open run in June. At first, he was thinking about debuting on May 30th, but releasing it on June 20th provides him with a two-week uncontested period at the box office.
Additionally, it was revealed that the producers plan to connect the movie’s trailer with the screenings of Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2, set to hit theaters on May 1, 2025.
On Earth’s Surface, the movie titled Sitaare Zameen Par is known for its realistic portrayal of life. Starring in this film are the talented actors Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary. Directed by the skilled RS Prasanna.
Currently, Aamir Khan has announced some news regarding the Mahabharat production. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, he disclosed that he plans to serve as one of the project’s producers. However, at this point, it remains uncertain if he will also take on an acting role in the series.
