After Station 19’s Happy Ending For Marina, Danielle Savre’s New TV Romance Is Off To A Steamy But Nerve-Wracking Start On NBC’s Found

Be advised, if you haven’t seen it yet, the winter debut of NBC’s series titled “Found” carries some surprising plot twists. You can watch it on Peacock, right now, with a subscription.

In the 2025 TV lineup, the show “Found” resumed to resolve the autumn’s cliffhanger. By the finale, Gabi sported a head injury, Dhan had been shot, and Trent’s whereabouts were uncertain following Sir’s intrusion into his house. The episode also presented Heather, an enigmatic newcomer, who spent the night with Trent, portrayed by Danielle Savre from “Station 19”. While Maya, Savre’s character from “Station 19”, found a happy ending with long-term partner Carina, it appears that Heather and Trent are only just starting their story on “Found”… and Savre shared with TopMob her experiences filming alongside Brett Dalton.

In their first encounter on the show “Found”, Heather was found in Trent’s bed the morning after they spent the night together, only draped in a sheet, indicating a casual and intimate connection between them. However, it was evident that both characters were still strangers to each other, although Heather quickly figured out about the woman who had shattered Trent’s heart previously. Although he knew she was a criminal defense attorney, Trent avoided answering her questions regarding his own profession. In an unexpected turn of events, she left without even saying goodbye, but she left something behind that hinted at a deeper connection between them. The fact that Savre will reappear in Season 2 as a recurring actor suggests that Heather is more significant to Trent than just a one-night stand.

Given that Savre’s last on-screen romance was as Maya – one half of the Marina couple who departed together in the spring – viewers haven’t witnessed her in a character like Heather or engaging in a dynamic similar to the one she currently shares with Trent. Therefore, during my interview with the actress about her debut episode of Found, I was curious: did she have a chemistry test with Brett Dalton prior to being cast? Savre answered:

In a somewhat jittery fashion, I’ll admit that I was anxious about our initial encounter, hoping we would click, since it’s always nerve-wracking to hope for chemistry [laughs]. We crossed paths in hair and makeup and during rehearsal that very morning. Interestingly enough, it seemed Brett, given my limited knowledge as I didn’t watch the show, was equally nervous because he usually took his shirt off frequently on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but hasn’t done so for Found. This scene in Found is not a common one, making it all the more nerve-wracking for him, as it was our first time filming such scenes on this particular show.

In the past, I was a devoted fan of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and I can confidently say that Brett Dalton frequently appeared shirtless, both before and after his character transitioned to an antagonist. It’s not surprising that they were both apprehensive about filming their winter premiere scene together because it marked a first for him as a regular in the Found series, and Danielle Savre’s debut on Found altogether. The actress from Station 19 later added:

Transitioning into a fresh role on a new series, following seven years of portraying another character, I couldn’t help but feel excited and apprehensive at the same time – ‘Alright, let’s dive in!’ It turned out to be an exhilarating experience. I enjoy those scenarios that push you to think, ‘This could go either way.’ Fortunately, it worked out brilliantly for us, and we shared many laughs along the journey. The uncertainty of where it would lead added to the thrill, as no one ever truly knows what lies ahead. It was fascinating to watch how things unfolded.

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but ponder: Isn’t it inevitable that the bond between Heather and Trent in ‘Found’ would face some twists or turns? After all, every compelling relationship needs its share of ups and downs to keep us hooked!

In an intriguing tidbit, actress Danielle Savre shared her enthusiasm about collaborating with new cast members on the show. However, we don’t know yet which member of the M&A team Heather will cross paths with first, or under what circumstances this meeting might occur. What’s more, it’s unclear how much screen time Danielle Savre will share with her co-stars in Season 2.

With so many questions up in the air about Heather’s storyline, we’ll have to wait and see how things unfold!

Luckily, it’s been confirmed that your favorite show will continue, and its upcoming episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, January 23rd at 10 p.m. ET on NBC, right after Law & Order: SVU as per the regular schedule. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store for Gabi and the gang in the next installment:

The promotion doesn’t reveal any additional information about Heather that Trent didn’t learn during the winter premiere, but it does suggest that the upcoming episode will continue from where it left off, focusing on Trent, Sir, and Gabi. Make sure to catch NBC every Thursday at 10 p.m. ET or stream the episodes on Peacock now. If you’d like to compare Danielle Savre’s portrayal of her new character in Found to her role as Maya in Station 19, you can find the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff available for streaming with a Hulu subscription.
