After The Voice Finally Returned To The TV Schedule, Fans Had All The Adam Levine-Related Thoughts, And There’s One That’s Sticking With Me

This week, TV schedules revealed that The Voice Season 27 has kicked off, featuring the initial round of blind auditions and a familiar coach making his return to lead his team. Following the summer announcement that Adam Levine would reclaim one of those red chairs for the first time in more than five years, viewers have watched the premiere episode with Maroon 5’s frontman back on board.

After watching the premiere and looking around at the reactions, I have one main takeaway.

Adam Levine Is Back On The Voice, And Fans Were So Happy To See Him

Adam Levine teamed up with Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, and John Legend as judges on “The Voice” panel, causing quite a stir online. Notably absent was his long-time friend and fellow coach Blake Shelton, who has been a constant presence but is missing this time around since it’s the first season without country star and frequent winner, Shelton. Here’s a link to an article about it: [insert link]

The most dynamic duo on “The Voice” was undeniably Adam and Blake. Their lively rapport made the show an absolute joy to watch in its early days. It was entertaining, too, when Kelsea Ballerini had a hidden button with some of Blake Shelton’s quips about Adam Levine at his disposal. When Levine mentioned coming back to the show, he couldn’t resist needling Shelton – which I found amusing. However, I must admit that I’m intrigued by the prospect of seeing Adam Levine host a season without Blake. It will be fascinating to see where his competitive spirit is channeled instead.

Based on the comments, it appears that fans were thrilled to have Adam Levine back as a coach on The Voice. Interestingly, he’s occupying Blake Shelton’s old chair this season. Adam himself mentioned that he “felt it was the right time” for his return after departing in 2019, and it seems many share this sentiment.

A while back, I was embroiled in a scandal about infidelity, which brought me a lot of criticism, but here I am, still standing strong with my wife as we celebrate ten years of marriage in sunny Mexico. After all, who are any of us to judge? Recently, on the show, I managed to snag some talented singers for my team, and one of them even covered “Sunday Morning,” earning a four-chair turn. To top it off, she chose me to mentor her. As a supporter put it:

In the new season, there are some surprising comebacks from a former artist that have stirred up a powerful response. So far, there’s plenty to admire!

But, Here’s What’s Really Sticking With Me After The Premiere

As someone who’s been following The Voice for quite some time, this tweet made a lasting impression on me:

Since my stint on The Voice began in 2011, I’ve grown less enthusiastic about Maroon 5, but it still tugged at my heartstrings to see an original judge return after so much change over the years. It’s been four seasons since Blake Shelton departed, and honestly, things just haven’t felt the same since. Over the years I’ve appreciated the diverse array of singers who took on coaching roles, but Adam Levine was part of the inaugural crew that initially drew me to the show, and that connection counts for a lot.

I’m excited for more episodes of The Voice every week on NBC, Mondays and Tuesdays.
