Betelgeuse has reappeared once more. Thirty-six years following his departure to the hereafter, this spirit known as ‘the most’ is back to fulfill a fresh objective – assisting living beings in the world of ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’.
On September 6th, I’ll be back in theaters for Tim Burton’s highly anticipated sequel to his 1998 movie, where Beetlejuice, played once again by Michael Keaton, gets summoned by Lydia Deetz, portrayed by Winona Ryder. This time, she’s trying to safeguard her daughter Astrid, played by Jenna Ortega, in the Neitherworld. It seems like both mother and daughter share a knack for accidentally opening portals to the deceased. Joining the cast are Monica Bellucci as Beetlejuice’s adversary, Delores, an evil spirit; Justin Theroux; and Arthur Conti. As a fan eagerly awaiting this return to the world of the peculiar and macabre, I can hardly wait!
As a lifelong fan of Tim Burton’s unique and eccentric style, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming wave of “Beetlejuice” merchandise hitting stores this month!
