Ahead of the Game: Vampirio is all about vicious vampires and vengeance on the moon

  • Avenge your family against the undead
  • Level up your skills with tornados and lightning
  • Fight long enough to last through the night

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for the supernatural and a soft spot for revenge stories, I can’t help but feel a thrill coursing through my veins as I delve into the world of Vampirio. Having battled countless digital demons across countless realms, I’m no stranger to the undead hordes that lurk in the shadows. But this time, it’s personal – my family has been taken by those bloodthirsty fiends under the sway of a mysterious moon.

Greetings and welcome to Ahead of Time Gaming! Here, we introduce you to exciting games that are yet to hit the market but are already ready for your play. With this series, you’ll get a chance to experience these games before their official release, whether through Early Access, Beta Testing, Demos, or other means.

In the forthcoming game titled Vampirio, embark on a vengeful journey to hunt down vampires. This survivor-style roguelike game offers you the chance to avenge the tragic loss of your family at the hands of these undead creatures.

To stand a chance against the horde of undead every night, Vlad and Alba Dracul should consider expanding their inventory of weapons. Interestingly, it appears that the moon might be orchestrating these attacks against you, given its supposed ability to command the undead.

From a fan’s perspective, whether it’s the undead hordes that haunt your dreams or the cosmic enigma that watches over you in the darkness, your sole focus should be on safeguarding your Town Hall and vanquishing waves of demons – until the dawn chases them all away with its fiery light.

Each kill offers enticing rewards that enhance your battle abilities, providing unpredictable skills, upgrades, and additional weapons such as shurikens and bolts of lightning.

It’s really up to you whether you want to boost your defence or you want to leave a singed trail of damage-dealing fire in your wake. It’s also pretty exhilarating when you come face-to-face with a big boss towards the end of a five-night level – top that off with the charming cartoony visuals and it might just be a surprise hit in the making.

So, how do you play Vampirio?

Vampirio is currently in soft launch in the Philippines and Poland, so if you’d like to grab a stake to stab some bloodsucking garlic-haters, it’ll all depend on your region at the moment. Here’s hoping we’ll get a global launch soon though, because from what I’ve played so far, this definitely feels like a pretty engaging quest for vengeance I’m all too willing to take.
