AI Just Envisioned Emma Watson And More Harry Potter Stars As Baywatch Characters, And I Can’t Unsee Voldemort In Swim Trunks

As a huge fan of both Harry Potter and Baywatch, I can’t help but be fascinated by the recent AI-generated images that imagine what it would look like if the Harry Potter stars donned swimsuits and joined the ranks of the iconic Baywatch lifeguards. The idea is simply mind-boggling!

Using AI technology, there’s an increasing trend towards creating alternative versions of familiar characters. For instance, if you’ve ever pondered what Disney-style representations of “Game of Thrones” figures or gender-swapped celebrities might look like, AI has made those imaginings a reality in captivating and somewhat dreamlike ways. Now, for those Harry Potter fans who have wondered how the stars would appear as Baywatch characters, there’s an intriguing AI-generated depiction available. Personally, I can’t help but envision Lord Voldemort in swimwear after seeing that image!

At the conclusion of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2,” the audience finds Harry, Ron, and Hermione as grown-ups, accompanied by their children, making their way to Platform 9 ¾ for Hogwarts. Imagine if instead of staying in the enchanted realm, they made a beeline for the beach instead? For a fun twist on how Harry Potter characters would appear as your preferred “Baywatch” cast members, check out the Instagram account potterzworld’s imaginative take below:

Although they appear somewhat digitally enhanced, I’m still astonished by how authentic these images seem. The likenesses of actors such as Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Daniel Radcliffe are strikingly similar to those you’d expect to find in the cast of Baywatch. With their hair blowing in the wind, this threesome seems poised for another lifesaving mission. Even Tom Felton appears ready to administer CPR, as suggested by that photograph.

As a devoted fan, I cannot deny the impact of certain character portrayals that leave an indelible mark on my imagination. For instance, visualizing Voldemort in swim trunks, revealing his bare legs and arms, is a mental image I could have lived without. If I came across him by the poolside, I’d be quick to vacate the area! And then there’s the dementor shadowing the other lifeguard. With their soul-sucking reputation, it’s safe to assume they wouldn’t be saving anyone from drowning.

In addition, it’s amusing to witness Hagrid and Dobby charging through the sand. Moreover, Snape’s physique is quite noticeable in his unzipped swimsuit. The most hilarious crossover of “Potter” and “Baywatch,” however, features Dumbledore. With his long hair, beard, and sunglasses, he almost resembles a beach bum. Yet, given that Dumbledore is the greatest sorcerer, I assume he’s capable of saving someone in need.

I absolutely love imagining the fantasy franchise’s cast in new and unexpected roles! It’s a delight to picture the Harry Potter crew transforming into characters from The Office or becoming Grey’s Anatomy doctors. The creativity that comes with these imaginative scenarios is truly endless and adds an exciting layer of entertainment to their already beloved characters.

A lot of people might share my surprise at the unexpected collaboration of these franchises. To be honest, I’m not overly thrilled about Emma Watson and her cast on a beach setting. But if I could make one wish, it would be to erase the image of Voldemort in shorts from my mind.

To catch a glimpse of the Harry Potter cast dressed in their Wizarding World costumes, you can stream all eight movies using a Max membership or by subscribing to Peacock. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to revisit the nine seasons of Baywatch with a Prime Video subscription.
