Akshay Kumar made quite an impact when he entered Maddock Productions’ horror realm with Stree 2. His character, a descendant of Sarkata, captured fans’ affections and boosted excitement for his future projects like Pehla Mahayudh and Doosra Mahayudh. At the Sky Force trailer premiere, producer Dinesh Vijan announced that Kumar, known as Khiladi, would assume a crucial part in the production, likening him to “the Thanos” within their horror universe.
During the unveiling of Sky Force, producer Dinesh Vijan was queried regarding Akshay Kumar’s participation in upcoming movies set within Maddock’s horror realm. Vijan responded affirmatively, stating, “Absolutely, he is indeed our equivalent to Thanos.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Maddock Films has announced an exciting plan for the next few years – they aim to launch two films each year from their cinematic universe, starting in 2025 and continuing until 2028. The second phase of their horror-comedy superhero universe commences in 2025, with the premiere of Thama around Diwali, followed closely by Shakti Shalini on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025. I can hardly wait!
These movies are setting the stage for the upcoming releases of “Bhediya 2” on August 14, 2026, and “Chamunda” on December 4, 2026.
2027 marks the comeback of two blockbuster series initially launched in 2024, with “Stree 3” hitting screens on August 13 and “Mahamunjya” releasing on December 24. As each movie establishes its unique identity, the complete storyline of Maddock’s cinematic universe will reach its climax in Mahayudh – an impressive two-part tale that aims to push the limits of horror-comedy within Indian cinema.
This grand endeavor brings together heroes from diverse realms of the Maddock horror-comedy multiverse, with the goal of transcending the boundaries of both genre and magnitude. The first epic battle, titled Pehla Mahayudh, is slated for release on August 11, 2028, while the second, Doosra Mahayudh, will hit the screens during the Diwali season on October 18, 2028.
In terms of his career, Akshay Kumar is preparing for the premiere of “Sky Force,” scheduled for January 24, 2025. This movie also features Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan as co-stars with him.
