Alec Baldwin Returns to ‘SNL’ as Bret Baier to Spoof Fox News Interview With Kamala Harris

As a die-hard Saturday Night Live fan with decades of viewings under my belt, I must say that Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of Bret Baier was spot-on! The cold open skit perfectly captured the testy interview between Kamala Harris and Baier earlier this week. It’s like they took a time machine straight to real-life politics!

In a fun twist, Alec Baldwin reappeared on Saturday Night Live, this time portraying Fox News anchor Bret Baier. The episode’s opening sketch mimicked a tense interview between him and Kamala Harris, played by Maya Rudolph.

During an interview with President Trump, I began by asking about the primary concern he saw for our nation. Now, I’d like to pose the same question to you: What do you consider as the top issue we’re dealing with in this country?” And Baier then queries the vice president, “Could you clarify the number of dangerous individuals you’ve allowed to roam freely within our borders?

While Harris tries to respond, the host of Special Report with Bret Baier persists in interrupting her, much like he did during his actual interview with the vice president this week. He then queries Harris if she was present to address questions or merely seeking a viral incident?

Rudolph’s Harris politely requests, ‘No, not seeking a viral sensation,’ yet proceeds to participate in a well-known social media challenge. Notice how I handle interruptions gracefully, demonstrating thoughtfulness and modesty,” says Rudolph’s Harris, addressing the camera.

When Baldwin’s Baier criticizes her for merely sharing memes, Harris responds by stating, “That’s incorrect. I aim to bridge divides. In fact, many Republicans support me because within our circle, we share a bond.

Baier questions, “Even though I’m not acquainted with this group, aren’t we all on the same page here? You’ve been quite polarizing. You labeled Donald Trump as unsuitable, unstable, incapable of leading, and unchecked.

On a Saturday night, Michael Keaton graced Studio 8H once more, serving as the host of the humorous variety show for the fourth occasion. Alongside him, Billie Eilish was featured as the musical performer.

More to come.
