Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ Video Episodes Move to YouTube From Spotify

Starting from now, you’ll find the video installments of Alex Cooper’s podcast titled “Call Her Daddy” exclusively on YouTube, as they’re leaving Spotify.

The video episodes of Cooper’s Unwell Network podcasts, featuring shows like “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” and “Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy,” will now be shared on YouTube as well. However, you can still access the audio versions of these podcasts from various platforms.

Cooper announced the shift on Monday, framing it as an opportunity for viewers to enjoy “all fresh installments of ‘Call Her Daddy’ without charge on YouTube.

Can’t wait for you all to catch a glimpse of what’s next! Fresh content, fresh programs, and fresh personalities – that’s what I’ve been working on, as shared on my Instagram story.” (Fan Speak)

The transformation follows SiriusXM securing an agreement to purchase Cooper’s podcast and her collective podcast network for a sum of $125 million, effective from 2025. Notably, Cooper, who boasts the title of the world’s most popular female podcaster, was previously associated with Spotify’s lineup.

Prior to striking a deal with SiriusXM, Spotify had given up the exclusive rights to Cooper’s podcast in January 2024, making the audio version accessible across all platforms. However, as of that time, Spotify retained exclusivity over the video version of her podcast, which is well-liked by fans of her show.

Moving to YouTube aims to expand Cooper’s shows to a larger audience due to the platform’s popularity, but it also allows SiriusXM to maximize ad revenue from Cooper’s podcast by reaching more people. This is one of several factors SiriusXM considers when choosing which big podcast names to attract. Additionally, SiriusXM purchased the popular podcast “SmartLess” in 2024.
