In a conversation, the senior actress discussed a thoughtful act by Alia that increased her admiration for her. She revealed that most of the movie “Gangubai Kathiawadi” was filmed at night. Seema ji added that there was a young actress who served as a junior artist in the film. She explained that this girl played a role where she had to sleep and then deliver a line.

Seema Pahwa shared that it was quite past bedtime, and the young actress was indeed feeling drowsy, thus requiring multiple takes. The actress disclosed that she observed Alia instructing the girl to let herself be tapped gently on the shoulder before reciting her lines.

Seema mentioned that Alia made a thoughtful gesture, one that spoke volumes without needing words. She added, “It seemed so selfless and intentional to me since I was present and took note of it.”

She concluded by saying, “Yeh insaaniyat jo hoti hai sabse badi cheez hoti hai (This humanity is the greatest thing that exists).”
