In a chat with The Lallantop, Alia Bhatt, along with director Vasan Bala and Vedang Raina, discussed their new movie Jigra. During this discussion, host Saurabh Dwivedi asked Alia about the very first film she ever saw at a cinema.
Initially, it took her a moment to remember, but eventually, she responded, “I don’t want to make a mistake, perhaps I’m thinking of Hera Pheri or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.” She went on to express that she is quite fond of the film starring Akshay Kumar.
After her response, the host inquired about Alia’s encounter with Paresh Rawal, a significant character from the movie, and whether she expressed her thoughts on it. In response, Alia stated that she had interacted with the actor before but wasn’t certain if she had conveyed her appreciation for Hera Pheri to him. Yet, the actress promised to share her admiration for the film with Paresh Rawal during their next encounter.

Discussing its development, Alia shared, “At present, there are no fixed shooting dates. However, I can assure you it will be made. The actress from “The Darlings” mentioned that the movie’s production is being postponed since coordinating schedules for crew members and actors is proving challenging. Nevertheless, she assured fans that the film will indeed be produced, stating, “However, I believe if everyone involved truly desires and intends to make this film, it shall come into existence.
For those not familiar, Farhan Akhtar is set to direct the film “Jee Le Zaraa.” This upcoming project features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt in leading roles. The movie is being referred to as a road trip buddy film, marking the first time these actresses will appear together on screen.
