Alia Bhatt wants Sanjay Leela Bhansali to make Salman Khan starrer now-shelved film Inshallah someday: ‘It’s a lovely love story’

As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for the art of cinema, I must say that Alia Bhatt’s journey in Bollywood is nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to take on diverse roles and collaborate with some of the industry’s most esteemed directors speaks volumes about her talent and dedication.

Alia Bhatt, who teamed up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the 2022 movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, is joining forces with him once more. In the upcoming film Love & War, Alia will be working alongside director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, along with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Alia referred to her previously postponed project, Inshallah, as a “beautiful love story,” and expressed her hope that Bhansali would eventually bring it to life, starring Salman Khan.

During a chat with Lallantop, Alia Bhatt shared her excitement for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project, Inshallah. When inquired about the potential collaboration between her and Salman Khan on their postponed film, Alia expressed optimism, stating that she fervently hopes it will eventually come to fruition.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I can wholeheartedly say that the project, Inshallah, is nothing short of brilliant. It’s a delightful love story that truly captivates one’s heart. When it comes to the casting, I trust Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s vision implicitly. Whatever decision he makes will undeniably be the best for the film!

Previously, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali disclosed that actress Alia Bhatt was significantly impacted when the project Inshallah was cancelled. Bhansali reminisced about how Alia “wept profusely and secluded herself in a room” following this unfortunate turn of events.

A week on, the renowned movie director phoned her up and proposed a principal part in the upcoming blockbuster of 2022, titled Gangubai Kathiawadi.

For those not familiar, the production of Inshallah was halted due to creative disagreements between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan regarding the film’s conclusion. Jayantilal Gada, the producer, explained this to Bollywood Hungama as a clash in ideas about the movie’s ending.

Previously, during an exclusive conversation with TopMob, filmmaker Bhansali disclosed that he often goes with his gut instinct when it comes to directing movies. He stated that he listens for the promptings from within, which he feels deeply.

Regarding the abandoned film titled Inshallah, the director subtly indicated that he had ceased work on it and shifted focus to Gangubai Kathiawadi instead.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that, in my professional journey, I too have an enchanting love story project waiting in the wings. Just like Alia Bhatt, who has captivated audiences with films such as Highway, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Dear Zindagi, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Gully Boy, Brahmastra: Part One Shiva, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and many more, I look forward to the opportunities these roles will bring.

In 2023, Alia collaborated with filmmaker Karan Johar on his directorial project titled “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” During the production of this movie, she acted alongside Ranveer Singh.
