Alix Jaffe Named President of TV at Miramax

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that I am now serving as the President of Television at Miramax, having previously held positions at Village Roadshow and CBS.

On March 31st, Jaffe is set to officially become part of Miramax, assuming responsibility for managing their TV collection. She replaces Marc Helwig, who left the company earlier this year. Senior Vice President of Television Development, Mirsada Abdool Raman, will now report directly to Jaffe.

According to Miramax CEO Jonathan Glickman, Alix’s unique blend of keen creative insights, strong industry connections, and proficiency in cultivating both established intellectual property and fresh content presents an exceptional chance for Miramax TV. With the might of Miramax’s renowned collection of films, she is exceptionally capable of fostering groundbreaking storytelling, boosting our international business, and guiding us towards providing top-tier talent and narratives to viewers worldwide.

Jaffe expressed his excitement about collaborating with Jon and the exceptional Miramax team. He has always respected their extensive collection of works and is eager to produce innovative series, generate unique ideas, and narrate tales that challenge norms while striking a chord with viewers worldwide.

Miramax’s television offerings encompass Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series, The Gentlemen, as well as Max’s documentary series on filmmaking, Project Greenlight. Notably, in 2023, the streamer reintroduced Project Greenlight. When Glickman assumed his role as CEO last year, Miramax obtained the positions that were previously held by Panoramic Media within Netflix’s Wednesday and Zero Day projects.

Most recently, Jaffe held the position of Executive Vice President for Television at Village Roadshow, where she played a significant role in establishing their TV division within the company. Preceding this role, she served as President at Greg Garcia’s production company, Amigos de Garcia, and functioned as an executive producer for his shows titled The Guest Book and The Millers. Prior to her time with Amigos de Garcia, Jaffe held the position of Vice President for Current Programming at CBS.
