As someone who has been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over two decades now, I must say, the future looks absolutely electrifying! The upcoming shows, from “Eyes of Wakanda” to the untitled Nova series, promise to bring new dimensions to our beloved universe.

Since the debut of WandaVision in 2021, enthusiasts have been anxiously counting down the days for the eagerly awaited spin-off. Agatha All Along is set to premiere in September, making it an integral part of Phase Five within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), alongside other MCU television shows. Despite worries that the quality of the MCU would wane after the supposed peak of Phases Three and Four, fans are relieved to learn that it continues to thrive. Furthermore, numerous upcoming on-screen adventures have been planned following Agatha All Along to maintain audience excitement.

In Disney+’s upcoming release, Kathryn Hahn will reappear as Agatha Harkness, the initial adversary from “WandaVision.” There’s speculation that her character might expand further within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), potentially moving to the big screen at some point. However, for now, there’s a lot of excitement surrounding her TV series, which has been generating significant buzz ever since its production was initiated in 2021.

As Phase Five progresses smoothly, several TV series are scheduled for airing after “Agatha All Along,” extending into 2025. Although specific details about projects slated for Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe haven’t been revealed yet, upcoming productions have indeed been disclosed and planned for future releases.

Agatha All Along is a fantastic addition to the mid-stream lineup of TV series in MCU’s Phase Five. Previously, viewers enjoyed the June 2023 release of Secret Invasion focusing on Nick Fury and Talos. A few months later, Loki’s second season made its debut, closely followed by the second installment of What If…?, both much-awaited sequels. Finally, Echo was unveiled this January, continuing the storyline from where Hawkeye concluded in 2021. With Agatha All Along scheduled to conclude in November, fans are now completely updated on Marvel’s television offerings.

Eyes of Wakanda

In December 2023, it was announced that “Eyes of Wakanda” is slated for release before the end of 2024. This upcoming television series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to stream on Disney+. Comprising four episodes, “Eyes of Wakanda” narrates the tales of Wakandan warriors who have historically sought and safeguarded powerful vibranium artifacts across time.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Additionally, scheduled for premiere this year is “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”. This series will serve as an origin tale for Peter Parker, delving into his early days as a superhero. The project was initially unveiled in 2021 under the title “Spider-Man: Freshman Year”. Excitingly, the show is animated to resemble the classic style of early Spider-Man comics, offering a unique and invigorating addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s fifth phase.

Daredevil: Born Again

Regarding upcoming releases for 2025, it’s been confirmed that the series “Daredevil: Born Again” will span across 18 episodes, with the first half of the season already scheduled. The release date for the second half of the season remains undetermined at this time. Following his role in the 2015 Netflix show, Charlie Cox is set to reprise his character as Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Ironheart

In the final stretch of the MCU’s fifth phase, it is Ironheart who will bring an end to further television additions. Dominique Thorne will once again embody the character of Ironheart, appearing in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, slated for release in 2022. Expected to debut in 2025, Ironheart’s series will unfold following the events depicted in Wakanda Forever.

The MCU is always thinking ahead about their future projects, which is a great thing for fans, even if it means uncertainty regarding release dates. There is a rough plan, however, for what is to come next. Thankfully, the MCU is planning to continue on from Agatha All Along with a currently untitled television story centered on Vision. Originally named Vision Quest, the show has very little information aside from a release date sometime in 2026.

The upcoming Marvel series following Phase Five are currently without definite release dates and details, which could be because Marvel is focusing on upcoming Avengers movies for now. However, the lineup of future Marvel Cinematic Universe shows appears intriguing, featuring both fresh concepts and continuations of existing ones.

New shows teased include an untitled Wakanda series, which is most likely going to be centered around Danai Gurira’s character, Okoye. Gurira has signed a deal already to take part in the show, and it is likely to be an origin story. Also announced is Marvel Zombies, following on from a plot point from an episode of What If…?.Wonder Man is another on the list, teased as a comedy show, with Ben Kingsley, who has been confirmed to reprise his role as Mandarin from Iron Man 3. Finally, an untitled Nova series has been discussed for release sometime before 2029.

Both “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” and “What If…?” have been approved for additional seasons. While details are scarce at the moment, fans are optimistic that the continuation of the “Spider-Man” animated series will live up to expectations. Meanwhile, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is cooking up exciting plans for its future, and it’s possible that we might see more television characters transitioning into larger film projects in the coming days.
