Recently, Sharvari decided to speak up and revealed that the movie will indeed smash numerous barriers.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sharvari described Alpha as a thrilling venture and expressed her eagerness to see this movie on the big screen, particularly because it marks the debut of a Spy Universe film featuring two female leads. She believes this film will shatter numerous barriers, which has left her both enthusiastic and slightly apprehensive. She’s keeping her hopes high for the project.
The actress discussed the distinction between the action in “Alpha” and her previous work in “Vedaa,” co-starring John Abraham. She explained that the genre of action in “Alpha” is new for her, although she did make one film, “Vedaa,” with similar elements. However, “Vedaa” was more about survival action, while “Alpha” is a more polished and fashionable type of action.
If you haven’t heard yet, Alpha is the seventh movie in the YRF Spy Universe series. This action-thriller, helmed by Shiv Rawail, showcases Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as leading super spies. Bobby Deol takes on the villainous role, while Hrithik Roshan has a special guest appearance, portraying the mentor of Alia and Sharvari’s characters. The film is planned for release on Christmas 2025.
In the latest news from Bollywood Hungama, it has been announced that Sharvari will be joining Ranveer Singh for the anticipated film Don 3. This movie, helmed by Farhan Akhtar, is set to start production at the end of 2025 following Sharvari’s commitment to Alpha.
Beyond her role in “Alpha,” Alia Bhatt is additionally engrossed in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project titled “Love & War.” This intriguing film brings together Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal along with Alia, and it’s slated to hit theaters on Eid 2026.
