The 2018 TV show “The Terror,” based on Dan Simmons’ novel of the same name from 2007, provides a fictional story about Sir John Franklin’s lost Arctic expedition between 1845 and 1848 on board ships HMS Terror and HMS Erebus. Historically, these vessels’ crews vanished without a trace. The series introduces a supernatural element to explain the events leading up to their disappearance. Critics have highly praised the show for its strong cast, including Jared Harris, Ciarán Hinds, Tobias Menzies, and Paul Ready, as well as its success in balancing drama and horror elements. As stated by JoBlo’s review, “The Terror” is an exceptional drama that also stands out as one of the scariest shows on recent television

The second season of the series titled “The Terror” – known as “Infamy” – delved into events during World War II along the West Coast and focused on a Japanese American community grappling with growing mistrust. Unfortunately, “The Terror: Infamy” is not available only available for streaming on Netflix, but all episodes can be found only on Netflix, but every episode can be watched in AMC+
