An Internet Troll Called Yellowstone 1923’s Star ‘Walmart Glen Powell,’ And He Actually Responded

Today, it seems like Brandon Sklenar, a native of New Jersey, is hard to miss. He made headlines for his heroic role in the final episode of the baby-introducing series finale of the “1923” prequel for “Yellowstone“, and is currently sharing screen time with other stars in the well-received thriller “Drop”. The future looks bright for Brandon as he takes on high-profile roles like adapting Freida McFadden’s book, “The Housemaid”. On the downside, this rise to fame unfortunately brings more vocal online critics.

Case in point: below an Instagram post shared by MTV, in which Sklenar and Drop co-star Meghann Fahy address their dating dos and don’ts, and amidst the good-natured responses, somebody thought it’d be a brilliant move to insult the actor by comparing him to another hugely popular star who also happens to be white and male. In a comment that appears to have been deleted by MTV, the user “kareem_kadash” called Sklenar a “Wallmart Glen Powell,” misspelling error and all.

[Brandon Sklenar’s Reply] “Well, I guess that makes me the best actor in history then.

Who doesn’t love a bargain?

1. “Sklenar’s retort was spot-on, proving once again why he’s a master of his craft.”
2. “The comment section was ablaze with laughter after Sklenar’s brilliant comeback!”
3. “Sklenar’s quick wit is unmatched in the movie world. His clapback was pure gold!”
4. “I can’t stop laughing at Sklenar’s response! It’s a testament to his comedic timing.”
5. “Sklenar’s comeback had me rolling on the floor! I can’t wait to see what he does next.”

  • dying at this 10/10 response. No notes.
  • Brandon’s reply shows he is cooler, nicer and hotter than you. Damn, look in the mirror pal 😂😂
  • Brandon is much better
  • not an apples to apples comparison.. but since you are compairing… Brandon – more bang for your buck!

Though Sklenar and Glen Powell may not share many professional similarities, they’ve been frequently discussed as potential Batman choices in James Gunn’s DCU, with Blake Lively endorsing Sklenar for the role. Consequently, it’s plausible that the harsh commenter was merely a Batman devotee who prefers the future Bruce Wayne to exude a chic, upscale demeanor – a persona that Glen Powell seems to project?

Indeed, it might be conceivable that a shop by the name “Walmart” with two Ls exists, which wasn’t inspired by billionaire Sam Walton, and instead concentrates on selling wall-related products. However, it’s highly unlikely.

It’s uncertain if Brandon Sklenar will put on the Batman costume or not, and whether he’ll reprise his role for the potential sequel to the contentious movie “It Ends With Us”. However, if Coleen Hoover’s next novel is made into a film, there might be a shift in the creative team. On the other hand, “The Housemaid” could be the production that convinces internet critics that Brandon Sklenar operates on a unique frequency compared to Glen Powell.

It might not be the most straightforward approach to fuel speculations of a romantic involvement between me and Sydney Sweeney, similar to how they stirred up buzz for their on-screen relationship in ‘Anything But You’.
