As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for cultural traditions and philanthropy, I find Anant Ambani’s generosity towards Lalbaugcha Raja during Ganesh Chaturthi truly commendable. His long-standing relationship with the committee, as evidenced by his support during the COVID-19 pandemic, speaks volumes about his character and values.

In preparation for the lively festival of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 7, the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja revealed its Ganesh avatar for 2024 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on Friday. This year’s grand idol of Lord Ganesha is adorned with a breathtaking golden crown. You might wonder who provided this generous jewel, and it’s none other than Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani. According to reports, Anant has donated a 20 kg gold crown worth approximately Rs 15 crore for the Lord Ganesha idol at Lalbaugcha Raja.

As per Lokmat Times’ report, Anant Ambani gifted a 20-kilogram golden crown to the Lalbaugcha Raja statue ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. The initial glimpse of Lalbaugcha Raja was revealed on September 6 in the evening, showcasing Lord Ganesha wearing a maroon-embroidered attire. The idol also sports a garland of maroon and yellow colors around its neck area. This year, the crown or headpiece that adorns the statue is drawing significant attention.

According to reports, Anant Ambani’s gold crown was meticulously created over a period of two months as a generous gift. This recent act by Ambani towards the Lalbaugcha Raja committee underscores the depth of his long-standing bond with them. The Lalbaugcha Raja Public Ganeshotsav Mandal will be celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi from September 7, 2024, to September 17, 2024, at Lalbaugcha Raja.

According to reports, Anant Ambani, who has been involved with Lalbaugcha Raja for 15 years, is currently helping out the committee. Previously, Anant Ambani provided financial aid to the Lalbaughcha Raja committee during the COVID-19 crisis, as per the report. He donated 24 dialysis machines to contribute to the committee’s fund for assisting patients, it was also mentioned.

Each year during Ganesh Chaturthi in Maharashtra, Lalbaugcha Raja stands out as one of the liveliest mandals. It’s not uncommon to see numerous Bollywood stars making an appearance at this location. For ten days, a series of colorful festivities unfold before culminating in a magnificent visarjan ceremony. In the visarjan ceremony, idols of Lord Ganesha are respectfully immersed in water bodies as a poignant goodbye is bid.

In July of this year, Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant. This grand wedding spanned over three days and took place at the Jio World Convention Center located within the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, from July 12 through July 14.
