Have you ever pondered about what the WhatsApp group of iconic Indian actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan might be named? Well, actress Ananya Panday came up with a delightful idea – they could call it “My Name is Khan,” just like one of SRK’s popular movies.
In a recent chat with Connect Cine, Ananya Panday swiftly revealed the names of certain celebrities’ WhatsApp groups during a fast-paced round. When inquired about what to call Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan’s group, she instantly suggested, “My Name is Khan,” which is an apt title for these legendary stars, drawing inspiration from SRK’s film title.
Apart from being known as Ananya, she is also part of a group that includes Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. She suggested that since the group is closely associated with Karan and his students, an appropriate name could be “Lifelong Students.
Ananya Panday has a strong friendship with Shah Rukh Khan, which dates back to when they were children due to her close relationship with his daughter Suhana Khan. In a chat with Filmfare, Ananya, famously known as ‘Call Me Bae’, shared that the most memorable gatherings took place at SRK’s Mumbai home, Mannat. She even mentioned that those parties concluded at Mannat.
Ananya casually shared that following festive occasions such as Manish Malhotra’s Diwali celebration, she often joined Suhana Khan, SRK (Shah Rukh Khan), Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Nanda at Mannat for some good times. She reminisced about the enjoyable moments they spent there, which included feasting on burgers, engaging in conversations, and even shaking a leg to the music.
In terms of her acting career, Ananya Panday has been announced as part of a yet-to-be-titled film adaptation of C. Sankaran Nair’s work. She will be joined by Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan on screen. The movie is being helmed by director Karan Singh Tyagi, with a release date scheduled for March 14, 2025 in theaters.
