Ananya Panday, much like her father Chunky Pandey, displays a witty humor in her latest Instagram post. In the image, she showcases her affection for Nana Patekar’s character Uday Shetty from the movie ‘Welcome.’ A closer inspection of her laptop keyboard reveals this adoration.

At present, Ananya is engrossed in promoting her upcoming historical courtroom drama titled Kesari Part 2. However, amidst the hustle and bustle, she took a brief respite to express her affection for the Bollywood classic comedy Welcome. The image of Nana Patekar, famously known as Uday Shetty, appearing on her keyboard’s Ctrl key in his iconic “Control Uday Control” mode, perfectly encapsulates her sentiment. Admittedly, it doesn’t come as a shock to see such a display from the actress who goes by the nickname ‘Ctrl’! Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

The image featuring Ananya has become wildly popular across social media platforms, and admirers can’t help but express their appreciation for her wit. For those unfamiliar, the movie “Welcome” came out in 2007 and has since gained a dedicated fanbase, earning the title of a cult classic. In this film, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal delivered memorable performances that are fondly remembered by viewers. The upcoming third installment of the series, titled “Welcome To The Jungle,” is set to hit theaters in 2025.

On April 12, the first song from Kesari 2 titled “O Shera – Teer Te Taj” was launched, and it garnered a favorable reaction from the audience. This movie is set in the context of lawyer C Sankaran Nair’s fight against the British Empire following the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919. In the film, Akshay Kumar portrays the main character of Nair, while Ananya plays Dilreet Gill, a crucial role in the storyline. Additionally, R Madhavan appears as Neville McKinley, a lawyer in the movie.

Following the release of Kesari 2, Ananya will appear in two upcoming films produced by Dharma Productions: Chand Mera Dil and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. In “Chand Mera Dil,” Ananya plays the lead role alongside Lakshya, under the direction of Vivek Soni. The actress reunites with her Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Kartik Aaryan in “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri,” six years after their last project together. Both films are scheduled for release in 2026.
