As someone who has spent more hours than I care to admit scrolling through social media and streaming shows on various platforms, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Netflix series, CTRL! The collaboration between Ananya Panday and Vikramaditya Motwane promises a gripping tale that resonates deeply with our modern-day obsession with technology.
Initially, TopMob was the one to break the news about Ananya Panday and Vikramaditya Motwane’s upcoming collaboration. Now, around a year later, the team behind the show has revealed the announcement video for CTRL, set to premiere on October 4, 2024.
Back on August 5, Netflix India unveiled a video to reveal the long-anticipated modern thriller titled CTRL. The series features Ananya Panday as Nella Awasthi and Vihaan Samat as Joe Mascarenhas, who are an adored romantic duo in the digital world, working together to produce content. However, their relationship takes a turn when they decide to part ways.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to bring your attention to an upcoming show that invites you to ponder a crucial question: In our data-driven world, where information holds power, how much of ourselves should we share publicly and at what cost? This intriguing exploration is titled “CTRL” and will be available exclusively on Netflix starting 4th October. So, mark your calendars and get ready to rethink your digital footprint!

Following the thrilling news of the upcoming series, I find myself swept up in a wave of enthusiasm alongside fellow enthusiasts. One user shared, “After her exceptional performance in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, she is certain to excel in this role; she truly deserves more recognition for her growth.” Another fan, equally enthused, commented, “With Motwane at the helm, I’m definitely tuning in!”
Ananya enthusiastically described her collaboration project with Vikramaditya Motwane and Nikhil Dwivedi as a movie that is both captivating and profound, hinting at its potential to provoke deep thoughts about the nature of personal control.
The actress added, “I firmly feel that this movie appeals to all, considering the rapid progression of technology and our growing reliance on it. There’s no better place to share such a gripping story like CTRL than Netflix.”
Meanwhile, Motwane voiced his opinion that due to the extensive time spent on devices, the concept of “life” has evolved into “screen life.” The filmmaker ponders whether we truly govern all our digital lifestyles, or if they control us. This is a question that their upcoming film aims to answer.
Under the direction of Vikramaditya Motwane, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon under the banners of Saffron Films and Andolan Films, the series titled CTRL will debut on October 4th. The show is a joint creation by Avinash Sampath and Vikramaditya Motwane, with Sumukhi Suresh responsible for its dialogue.
