On April 22nd, Yash Raj Films’ Instagram account posted an announcement that Ahaan Panday’s first movie, featuring Aneet Padda, will be called Saiyaara. This romantic production by Mohit Suri is backed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Akshaye Widhani. Expect the film to hit theaters on July 18, 2025, later this year.

For those not familiar, Ahaan Panday is related to Ananya Panday – he’s their cousin. He is the child of Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday. His sibling, Alanna Panday, enjoys a significant presence on social media platforms. On the other hand, Aneet Padda gained recognition for her role in Amazon Prime Video’s emotional drama series titled Big Girls Don’t Cry.
A source close to the project confided in us last year that Ahaan has been part of YRF Talent for around six years, starting back then. He underwent rigorous training programs specifically designed by Aditya Chopra. Furthermore, it was disclosed that Chopra aims to make this a monumental debut for a newcomer within the Hindi film industry.
Besides the information given, it was mentioned that director Mohit Suri intended to present Ahaan as the epitome of a romantic lead. Specifically, the director behind Aashiqui 2 sought a new talent with charm for the silver screen and looked forward to discovering Ahaan’s capabilities in this role.
