In more straightforward terms: Ananya Panday has left audiences spellbound with her performances in recent films such as Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Call Me Bae, and CTRL. She recently disclosed her future aspirations for her career, hinting that she might venture into directing and producing. Ananya expressed admiration for the production work done by Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.
Recently, during an interview with Forbes India, they inquired about my aspirations beyond acting. As of now, I’m not confident enough to direct, but I’ve had extensive discussions with my father, Chunky Panday, regarding producing films.
In simpler terms, Ananya mentioned that sometimes a scene or character may seem off in a script and she wished another actor was there instead. She explained that when choosing something, many options are considered, and being a producer allows for a lot of pieces to be assembled. Furthermore, she expressed interest in certain types of projects but didn’t see herself as an actor for them. She emphasized that a producer has the ability to bring those projects to life.
Later on, Ananya Panday pointed out actresses such as Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone who own production companies. She believed that their work in these ventures had given them a fresh acting dynamic. Ananya expressed, “They’re exploring something entirely new while still staying true to what they’re recognized for.” She further mentioned that this was the path she aspired to take and hoped to follow suit in the future.
In 2024, Ananya Panday gained significant recognition for her performances in the cyber thriller movie “CTRL” and the comedy-drama series “Call Me Bae”. Currently, she’s excited to keep audiences engaged with upcoming projects such as a film adaption of C. Sankaran Nair’s work, “Chand Mera Dil”, and others.
