As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in both entertainment and parenting, I find myself deeply moved by Ananya Panday‘s story of following her dreams. It is not every day that we come across such a young individual who possesses the courage to make bold decisions at a tender age.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but express my awe for Ananya Panday, who burst onto the Bollywood scene with Student of the Year 2. Since then, she’s shown her prowess by diving headfirst into substantial roles across multiple films. In a recent chat, her mom, Bhavana Panday, spilled the beans about their initial surprise when Ananya, after being chosen for SOTY 2, declared, “I won’t be going to college,” given that we were convinced CTRL actress would embark on her academic journey.
During a chat with Entertainment Live, Bhavana Panday shared that once Ananya Panday completed high school, she was fully prepared to embark on her college journey. In fact, Ananya had already obtained admission to study Media and Communication at USC in Los Angeles, and all necessary registration procedures were finalized.
Meanwhile, at that gathering, director Puneet Malhotra, in charge of Student of the Year 2, spoke to Bhavana about his search for a female actor for the movie. He inquired whether Ananya might be keen on the role.
Bhavana shared with him that the actress from The Dream Girl 2 was attending college, yet Puneet motivated her to consider auditioning if Ananya felt inclined. Following this, more individuals contacted her, prompting her to give it a try. Bhavana doubted anything would come of it, but Ananya wowed everyone with her performance and landed the role.
Upon being selected, Ananya informed her parents that she no longer intended to pursue higher education at college. This unexpected announcement left Bhavana and Chunky Panday in disbelief, as they had assumed she would attend college. Moreover, the postponement of the movie for a year strengthened their belief that Ananya would adhere to her original plans.
Yet, Bhavana conceded that Ananya was firmly convinced about her desires, and even though they had assumed she’d attend college at first, they eventually admired and supported her choice instead.
Bhavana made clear that they wouldn’t push Ananya into making any choices, so as not to cause regret in the future. She pointed out that if Ananya had attended college, her journey would have unfolded differently, and if they had pushed her, outcomes could have changed.
Regarding her professional appearances, Panday is scheduled to feature in a yet-to-be-titled film alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhvana. Additionally, she has two upcoming projects: “Chand Mera Dil” and the sequel of “Call Me Bae”. Madhavan will also be part of these projects.
