Andrew Tate and Brother Tristan Charged With 21 U.K. Crimes, Including Rape and Human Trafficking

It’s been announced that Andrew Tate and his sibling, Tristan, are facing allegations of 21 offenses in the U.K., which include rape, causing physical harm, and the exploitation of individuals, as stated by the prosecution.

The British Crown Prosecution Service gave approval for charges against the two siblings prior to the extradition warrant being served last year, aiming to return them from Romania where they are currently facing separate accusations, as per BBC News.

The verdict was reached following the submission of an evidence packet concerning accusations, originating from the Bedfordshire Police in the U.K.

The Tate family hails from the United States but relocated to Britain at a young age. They have refuted the allegations leveled against them. Andrew Tate, aged 38, was previously a kickboxer who later became a popular figure on social media, known for promoting extreme misogyny in his content. Tate initially gained notoriety from the UK reality show ‘Big Brother’ in 2016; however, he was expelled from the house six days later following the release of footage suggesting he assaulted a woman.

Currently, Tate boasts a massive following on various social media platforms. He has made several controversial statements, such as viewing women as personal possessions, placing blame on rape victims for their assaults, and frequently discussing acts of physical violence against women, including mentioning hitting and choking.

He is confronting ten accusations linked to three purported victims, encompassing rape, inflicting physical harm, human trafficking, and profiting from the management of prostitution.

Tristan Tate, his 36-year-old younger brother, is accused of 11 offenses related to a single alleged victim by the BBC. These charges range from rape, inflicting physical harm, and human trafficking.
