Andy Murray to Launch Stage Show, Live Theater Tour

As a devoted tennis enthusiast who has followed Andy Murray‘s illustrious career since his days at the Queens Club, I can hardly contain my excitement for this unique opportunity to delve deeper into the life and experiences of one of Britain’s most beloved athletes. Having watched countless matches, interviews, and documentaries, I have come to appreciate not only his unparalleled skill on the court but also his humility, resilience, and wit off it.

Andy Murray is in the spotlight once more, but this time in theaters across the U.K.

Andy Murray, once ranked as the top tennis player globally, is unveiling a stage production titled “Andy Murray: Centre Stage.” This show will travel across the U.K., culminating just before Wimbledon begins. During these interactive live events, Murray will appear onstage alongside a screen displaying video clips from his career. Through this show, he’ll reflect upon his tennis journey, offering fresh tales and insights into his life while touring.

I’m thrilled to share that, as a fan, I’ve got some exciting news! The highly-anticipated show is set for four nights across the UK during our cherished grass court season in June 2025. It all kicks off on June 18 at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow, the city of Murray’s birth. We then move to the Playhouse in Edinburgh on the 19th, followed by a stop at Eventim Hammersmith Apollo, London on the 2nd. The tour concludes on June 29 at the New Wimbledon Theatre, the eve before the Wimbledon Championships. Can’t wait to be there!

Andy Murray: The Spotlight (or Andy Murray: In the Limelight) will be presented and created by BBC sports commentator, Andrew Cotter, a familiar face who’s previously conversed with Murray on numerous occasions.

After retiring during the summer, I was eager to explore some novel experiences. Since no tennis player has ever attempted anything similar, it felt like an exciting and unique challenge for me. It’s been quite some time since I last stepped onto a tennis court, so I hope my supporters will find it intriguing to see me in this fresh environment.

Visitors are requested to keep their mobile devices at the entrance. Each venue can accommodate a maximum of 3,400 people.

The tour was created in collaboration with WME and IMG Tennis, a division of WME Sports.
