Apple TV+‘s limited series Lucky has added a second big name to its cast.
In the upcoming drama, Annette Bening will share screen time with Anya Taylor-Joy. This series is adapted from Marissa Stapley’s critically acclaimed novel and revolves around the character of Lucky (Taylor-Joy), who is trying to distance herself from a criminal past but finds herself reluctantly pulled back into it as she struggles to leave her history behind.
Bening will play Priscilla, who in the novel is a thief and a thorn in Lucky’s side.
In December, Apple TV+ commissioned a new series from the mind of Jonathan Tropper (creator of ‘See’, and soon-to-be ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’), along with Hello Sunshine. The production house for this project is Apple Studios.
More to come.
