However, Anthony Mackie himself hinted in an interview for Esquire that he’s not ready to retire his wings just yet.
In simpler terms, you’re suggesting that the next decade will likely see more Avengers movies and potentially new appearances from characters like Spider-Man and Fantastic Four. However, it’s hard to predict what might happen in ten years, and you don’t want to be too old for the role of Captain America.
It appears that the actor who played 8 Mile veteran role is planning to stick around with the sprawling superhero franchise for another ten years. His reasoning behind this prediction seems sound. In the near future, he has two major projects lined up: Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, with the former slated to start filming in 2021. It’s wonderful to see so much excitement from our main character, especially since he could easily grow cynical given his current position. However, his enthusiasm might be fueled by the fact that he’s just entered a new phase in his character arc. With Sam Wilson now taking on the role of the Sentinel of Liberty, there are numerous tales yet to be told. For now, though, let’s concentrate on the immediate challenges that Wilson faces within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
