Apple recently introduced a fresh member in the iPad lineup – the brand new iPad Air, equipped with the M3 chip and designed for seamless integration with Apple’s intelligent features.
The new iPad Air equipped with an M3 chip operates nearly twice as fast as its M1 predecessor, and it’s approximately 3.5 times quicker than the iPad Air featuring the A14 Bionic chip. The M3 chip incorporates a more potent eight-core CPU that can be up to 35% swifter for multithreaded CPU tasks, and it boasts a nine-core GPU capable of delivering graphics performances up to 40% quicker than the M1 chip.
Simultaneously, this device is designed for seamless integration with Apple’s smart features, offering a wealth of useful tools throughout its operation. For instance, the “Clean Up” feature in Photos allows users to effortlessly eliminate distracting elements within their images, while the “Image Wand” in Notes enables users to transform rough sketches into more detailed drawings. Moreover, users can now verbally communicate with Siri, which boasts ChatGPT capabilities for a more interactive experience.
Additionally, there’s a brand new Magic Keyboard available for the iPad Air. This keyboard comes equipped with a bigger integrated trackpad, a USB-C port for charging, and a magnetic attachment system. The accessory retails at $269 USD and boasts a Smart Connector that instantly links power and data without relying on Bluetooth.
The iPad Air is highly sought-after due to its exceptional blend of robust power, mobility, and compatibility with high-end accessories, all while maintaining an attractive price point,” stated Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of global product marketing. “From college students jotting down notes using the Apple Pencil Pro, to globetrotters and creative professionals who require potent productivity on the move, the iPad Air with M3 chip, Apple Intelligence, and the latest Magic Keyboard offer flexibility and worthiness in spades.
As an excited enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the latest iPad Air will set you back $599 USD for the 11-inch variant and $799 USD for the 13-inch version. Pre-orders are now live, and the device along with the Magic Keyboard will start hitting shelves on Wednesday, March 12. Be sure to check out the stunning design in the gallery above!
