Apple Series ‘Acapulco’ to End With Season 4

The popular comedy series “Acapulco” on Apple TV+ has been confirmed as airing its final season starting from July 23, with two episodes debuting on that day.

The fourth season of Acapulco was officially confirmed in August. As we approach May now, it’s proving difficult for everyone involved to bid farewell.

Eugenio Derbez, the lead actor and executive producer of this show, expressed that the four seasons have been enchanting in a statement. ‘Acapulco’ has spread happiness and emotion to viewers worldwide, and although it’s difficult to part ways, I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished. Our talented cast, writers, and directors, as well as our representation of Mexico’s culture, beauty, and warmth – it’s been an extraordinary journey.

In the fourth season, contemporary Maximo (Derbez) is seen working diligently to bring Las Colinas back to its past splendor ahead of its grand relaunch, as suggested by Apple’s plot summary. Flashback to 1986, a time when a rival hotel usurped the top spot in Acapulco’s annual “Best Hotels” ranking. In response, a determined young Maximo (Enrique Arrizon) takes drastic measures to safeguard Las Colinas’ future.

The principal actors in this production are Fernando Carsa, Rafael Cebrián, Vanessa Bauche, Camila Perez, Carlos Corona, Chord Overstreet, Regina Reynoso, Jessica Collins and Regina Orozco. Among those returning for another round are Damián Alcázar, Jaime Camil and Cristo Fernández. Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Omar Chaparro will appear regularly in the upcoming season as recurring characters.

Ben Odell serves as the executive producer for the TV series “Acapulco,” a production by Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman. Laybourne is the showrunner. Furthermore, Kim and Eric Tannenbaum, along with Jason Wang representing The Tannenbaum Company, are also executive producers.
