Archero 2 tier list - Abilities, characters and gear ranked

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent in the realm of Archero, I must say that this guide is nothing short of a treasure trove for any aspiring Archeros out there! With my years of experience under my belt, I can confidently vouch for the wisdom contained within these virtual pages.

In the game Archero 2, it’s crucial to understand which items, skills, and characters you should focus on. As each component significantly impacts gameplay, I will discuss the importance of enhancing the appropriate heroes and equipment in this article.

Initially, you won’t find many exciting features at your disposal. In fact, you won’t gain access to new characters until you complete Chapter 3, which might initially seem unimportant. However, once all features are unlocked and the stages become progressively challenging, it becomes crucial to carefully consider your character build.

As a dedicated gamer of Archero 2, I’m about to share my insights on the characters, equipment, and ability tiers to help you make the most of your in-game resources. Here’s what we’ll cover:

As a gamer, let me throw in my two cents about the ability tier list: it’s all about personal preference – what I consider top-tier might not work for you. Each player is unique, so don’t hesitate to mix and match different gear and abilities until you find something that feels right and brings enjoyment.

1 Characters tier list

TierCharacter name
SDracoola, Seraph
ANyanja
BAlex, Helix

Dracoola

As a gamer, I can’t help but rave about Dracoola! From the get-go, he’s got this incredible lifesteal feature that’s just massive. With each star he gains, he becomes even more formidable, but once you’ve maxed him out at 5*, oh boy, he transforms into a true beast on the battlefield. He’s my undisputed favorite character without a doubt!

Seraph

Using Seraph significantly boosts your chances of meeting Valkyrie early on. Her ability to unlock advanced, high-tier skills makes her a top-tier, premium character, which isn’t surprising at all.

Nyanja

As a gamer, I absolutely adore Nyanja! The boost in my movement speed is just fantastic, and with its built-in Swift Wind ability, I can easily dodge those pesky enemy waves. Plus, the thrill of zipping around the map is simply unmatched – it’s an absolute blast to play!

Helix

I am not a huge fan of Helix since it can be quite difficult to master. He excels at low HP, but that can be dangerous. If you learn him well, he could work pretty well.

Alex

At the start, Alex serves as your initial character, and he’s not half bad. Once you upgrade him to level 2*, his Attack Speed and Critical Strike Rate will be enhanced, providing exciting build opportunities.

2 Gear tier list

TierGear
SGriffin Armor, Boots of Decisiveness, Griffin Boots, Griffin Helmet, Armor of Decisiveness, Helmet of Decisiveness, Amulet of Decisiveness, Griffin Ring, Griffin Amulet, Griffin Claw, Ring of Decisiveness
ADragon Knight Amulet, Dragon Knight Armor, Dragon Knight Crossbow
BEcho Ring, Echo Amulet, Dragon Knight Ring, Armor of Destruction, Dragon Knight Boots
CBoots of Destruction, Echo Boots, Echo Armor, Echo Helmet, Amulet of Destruction, Helmet of Destruction, Heroic Longbow, Ring of Destruction
DAgile Knuckles

Out of all the gears available, these ones are truly top-notch and I highly suggest considering the Griffin set, if feasible. Its performance is excellent across various builds. Personally, I’m quite fond of the Griffin set as it provides extra stats based on the number of surrounding enemies.

The Decisiveness set revolves around Crit. It is good for most builds, just like the Griffin set.

The Dragon Knight set is not that impressive even though it’s of high quality. Its skill effects are nothing too shiny – it mainly focuses on explosions. In my opinion, you should aim for something a lot better, unless you want to make a build that fits the Dragon Knight set.

3 Abilities tier list

From what I observe, many of these abilities are quite effective. The choice really depends on your preferred playstyle. For my part, I tend to favor Sprite and Orb builds. I find them particularly enjoyable, although they may not be suitable for every situation.

Feel free to experiment with any build that appeals to you – just keep in mind to create a setup that brings you enjoyment. Personally, I’m a fan of melee builds with high Lifesteal, which is why Dracoola is my go-to character. However, if you prefer something different, don’t hesitate to mix things up a bit.

In terms of Archero, there isn’t a definitive tier list for abilities because each player chooses the skills they prefer most and tries to make them effective. Regardless of how many powerful sprites or orbs you have, if you’re not enjoying yourself with that build, it’s not worth continuing to play.

Feel free to examine both sets of rankings – the Fortress Saga tier list and the original Archero tier list! Both lists are relevant to the initial game.
