To mark the 4th anniversary of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s movie “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar,” Arjun shared a video on his social media, looking back on the special moments from the film. He also admitted that the timing for the release wasn’t perfect, but he found it challenging and even surprising as an actor because it took him beyond his comfort zone.

On his Instagram account, Arjun Kapoor posted a video showing the public’s response when the movie was first released. He wrote, “Some movies discover their audience over time…Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar – a film I decided to be part of four years ago, a film that took me out of my usual acting space and even left me surprised as an actor.

Kapoor went on to say, “Initially, the film didn’t receive the recognition it deserved. While some admired it, others may have overlooked it – perhaps the timing wasn’t ideal, or maybe it just didn’t meet their expectations. Recently, as the movie celebrated its fourth anniversary, I’ve been delighted to see more and more people discovering it, acknowledging its intricate storyline, acting, and scriptwriting. Some movies grow better with age, and it seems this one is finally getting the appreciation it deserves now.

Arjun strongly recommended that people who haven’t seen Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar yet should catch it on Prime Video, as he shared how passionately everyone involved had worked on this project. He passionately stated that the movie deserves all the affection and asked viewers to shower it with the appreciation it was meant to receive from the start.

The storyline for this dark comedy unfolds around two contrasting characters: Pinkesh “Pinky” Dahiya (played by Arjun Kapoor), who’s a police officer from Haryana, and Sandeep Kaur (portrayed by Parineeti Chopra), who hails from the corporate world. Filming for a large part of the movie took place at numerous locations scattered throughout North India.

In terms of his professional life, Arjun has recently appeared in the romantic comedy-drama titled “My Husband’s Other Wife.” This movie was directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Pooja Entertainment. Alongside Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, and comedian Harsh Gujral were also cast in significant roles within this production.

In addition to his recognition, Arjun Kapoor was praised for his performance in Rohit Shetty’s action-drama “Singham Again.” This film featured a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
