Arnold Schwarzenegger Announces $1M Donation to Los Angeles Fire Relief

Arnold Schwarzenegger announced a $1 million donation to Los Angeles fire relief on Tuesday.

The actor expressed his disapproval on social media about companies or wealthy individuals soliciting donations through their fans. Instead, he personally will be contributing to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the California Fire Foundation, and the L.A. branch of Habitat for Humanity.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted that numerous fans have inquired about ways to assist him, so he’s now offering a shirt modeled after the counterfeit bodybuilding T-shirts often sold by street vendors on the Venice Boardwalk.

The actor from The Terminator movie will give all the earnings from the shirt’s sales to the same three charities he personally donated to. Arnold Schwarzenegger is among those who have generously given large sums for Los Angeles fire relief; DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg and his wife Marilyn promised $5 million to the Motion Picture & Television Foundation this week. Leonardo DiCaprio, Beyoncé, Eva Longoria, The Weeknd, Disney, Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, and other individuals and companies have also made substantial donations to similar charities, in addition to contributing funds to relief efforts.>
