Arshad Warsi shares why he thinks it’s 'better to be in lust than in love’; says, ‘That is why p*rn stars…’

As a lifestyle expert, I find Arshad Warsi to be an intriguing individual who embodies a unique perspective on love and life. With his extensive experience in both reel and real-life relationships, it’s no surprise that he has such a thought-provoking take on the subject of love and lust.

Arshad Warsi, renowned for his hilarious performances both on-screen and off-, has been cherished by many for more than three decades. He’s been happily married to Maria Goretti and is a proud father of two children – Zeke Warsi, their son, and Zene Zoe Warsi, their daughter. The power that sustains them through thick and thin is their mutual love. Interestingly, the star of Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. expresses his unique perspective on relationships by stating that desire might surpass love in certain aspects. Keep reading!

In an enlightening chat with Samdish on YouTube, the actor shared his unique perspective on affection when asked about it. He asserted, “While there’s a touch of romance, I personally find being in the throes of lust more fulfilling than being in love.” To support this viewpoint, Arshad Warsi explained that love evolves and can shift from a spouse to family members, children, pets, wealth, or material possessions, among other things. On the contrary, he believes that lust maintains its essence, remaining constant and unchanging.

However, when it comes to lust, it stays with the woman a person is with. “That is why p*rn stars love each other so much!” he giggled. During the same conversation, he also revealed that he does not indulge in watching pornography or reading X-rated magazines. “I am from a boarding school. I’ve never watched porn or read those magazines,” he admitted.

Furthermore, the actor from Ishqiya expressed that he prefers action over observation. To illustrate, Arshad explained, “If I enjoy playing cricket, I don’t want to spectate; I find it uninteresting unless I participate myself.” However, the only activity he enjoys watching others perform and partakes in himself is acting.

During his conversation with the host, he not only discussed his thoughts but also touched upon the issue of pay equity in the industry. In his view, highly compensated celebrities shouldn’t receive such extravagant payments. He expressed this idea by saying, “I think it shouldn’t be given so much; that’s the problem. What is being received seems to be way more than what should be received – that’s the issue.” (translated from Hindi)

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve observed that the astronomical salaries of some individuals have led to a chasm between themselves and the general public. It’s disheartening to see that excess wealth is often accumulated at the expense of others. For instance, in the acting world, certain stars earn enormous amounts, while their colleagues struggle to make ends meet. On the work front, I am thrilled to be collaborating with Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 3, a project that aligns with my commitment to delivering quality entertainment while fostering social awareness.
