As a lifelong tennis enthusiast who grew up idolizing Arthur Ashe, this collaboration between Afterpay and Arthur Ashe is nothing short of a dream come true! From September 6 onwards, fans will have the chance to purchase the Arthur Ashe x Afterpay collection and other items through the Afterpay app, as part of its Dropshop program on the HBX website. This shopping platform showcases collaborative works between artists and offers exclusive, limited-edition merchandise from today’s most dynamic independent creators. Fashion enthusiasts can discover one-of-a-kind wardrobe essentials and highly anticipated drops by exploring Afterpay’s extensive selection of footwear, clothing, and specialty items launched by up-and-coming brands in the fashion world.

Arthur Ashe was a model of sportsmanship, combining the traits of a champion both on and off the court during his career in the 1960s and 1970s. He was an advocate for civil rights and social justice matters, using his platform to address issues such as youth access to sports, developmental education, and public health. The Arthur Ashe brand, led by Jeanne Moutoussamy (Arthur Ashe’s estate manager), Rowing Blazers’ creative director Jack Carlson, and art director Karl-Raphael Blanchard, honors the late athlete through modern, innovative tennis clothing designs.
