This military drama is wrapping up after its seventh season currently on air, and the final mission for Bravo is drawing nearer. Now, David Boreanaz‘s hint about a specific scene makes the finale seem even more tangible.
It was announced in late 2023 that SEAL Team was ending after Season 7, but it still seemed like the end was far away at the time. Later, filming for the final season kicked off, and the reality started to set in that fans would soon have to say goodbye to Bravo. As if fans needed another reminder that the series is ending in a matter of weeks, Boreanaz took to his Instagram story to repost a photo from the show’s official account, revealing that it was, in fact, the “last shot of the series,” and I am really in my feels:

The post even invites fans to guess what Jason Hayes is signaling in that crucial moment. Though it’s presented humorously, I must admit, I’m finding it tough to keep my cool as these thoughts swirl around me.
In March, David Boreanaz expressed his gratitude to fans for their support during his time on the series, and thanked both the cast and crew as well. It’s still hard to accept that SEAL Team is wrapping up, given its popularity as one of Paramount+’s top original shows. However, Boreanaz is ready for the show to conclude, as his body has reached its limit in terms of endurance due to years of performing stunts throughout his career, which he mentioned. At 55 years old, it’s no surprise that he would be eager to move on from this particular show.
Regarding the focus of the series finale, it’s yet to be revealed. Therefore, it’s uncertain if all characters from Bravo will make it through. The death of Max Thieriot’s character, Clay Spenser, has left a lasting impact on both the team and fans. However, it wouldn’t be unexpected if the show were to write off one or two characters in the final episode.
