Experiencing a viral video is common, but during our visit to Oahu for the Moana 2 press conference, TopMob was lucky enough to have a delightful encounter with the young actress over Dole Whips. This meant I had around half an hour with the live-action Lilo actress, and I must say she lived up to her charm. The star quality of Maia Kealoha was palpable as she interacted with me and other attendees at the meet and greet.
Upon encountering Kealoha, who hails from the Big Island, I was struck by the uncanny resemblance to the animated character Lilo in real life. This young woman exudes an infectious enthusiasm and poise, suggesting she’s perfectly suited for her role as the lead in the latest Disney film.
