As a seasoned RPG enthusiast with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of excitement when I see a new turn-based strategy game hitting the market. Neocraft’s Ash Echoes Global, set to launch on November 14th, has certainly piqued my interest. The idea of commanding a team of echomancers in a world plagued by an interdimensional rift is intriguing, to say the least.
Enthusiasts of Action Role-Playing Games (ARPG) will be delighted to learn that Neocraft has started pre-registration for their upcoming game, Ash Echoes, which can be played on iOS and Android devices. As per the listing on the iOS App Store, Ash Echoes is set to debut on November 14th. This game takes place in a world troubled by a colossal interdimensional tear.
Although Neocraft may not be as well-known as Hoyoverse in gaming circles, you might recall their past releases such as Cyber Rebellion and Immortal Awakening, games we’ve featured on our site. Gameplay-wise, Ash Echoes doesn’t appear to be groundbreaking, but if you’ve appreciated Neocraft’s prior projects, this game could provide the unique spin you’re seeking.
In Ash Echoes, I find myself leading a squad of echomancers – extraordinary beings who gained their powers following the tearing open of a dimensional gateway high above Hailin city. As the head of S.E.E.D (Scientific Electronics Experiment and Development), I guide these individuals who’ve found their way into our world through that very rift.
Worlds apart
frankly, I haven’t made up my mind yet about Ash Echoes. On one side, the promotional content appears quite impressive, but so far, the gameplay previews don’t make me believe it will be a truly exceptional title. However, this doesn’t mean that it looks terrible by any means; in fact, if you’re seeking a turn-based RPG with a slightly different twist, Ash Echoes might fit the bill – especially if Neocraft’s other games have been successful in your eyes.
