ASICS and A.P.C.’s Tennis Collection Is a Smash

Prior to the upcoming European Tennis Tour, ASICS and A.P.C. have teamed up to produce a tennis line that includes outfits for both playing on the court and casual wear off it.

This 20-item collection for on-court use seamlessly blends ASICS’ innovative performance technology with A.P.C.’s sophisticated style, showcased in various activewear shapes like crew necks, sleeveless shirts, and short shorts featuring subtle pastel ombre finishes. The line also embraces Japanese techniques such as “Kasane,” the art of layering, and “Shibori,” a traditional tie-dyeing method, within its design. Notably, it includes exclusive sneaker editions like the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X x A.P.C. and SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 3 x A.P.C. footwear.

Meanwhile, the off-court collection is a powerful statement of comfort wear, comprising thirty items. The enhanced assortment boasts an abundance of ready-to-wear pieces designed by Judith Touitou from A.P.C., who has a knack for “everyday movement.” This range also includes exclusive edition GEL-KAYANOTM 14 x A.P.C. sneakers.

Camille Eberhard, ASICS’ director of apparel, stated, “Working together, we turned our shared vision into reality, focusing on both style and functionality to instill trust on the court. Our aim for the on-court line was to create clothing that empowers players, preparing them to feel at their peak as they embrace the invigorating effect of movement. We achieved this by merging classic design elements with our cutting-edge performance technology.

Notably, the launch represents ASICS’s first-ever head-to-toe tennis collaboration.

Beginning April 5, you’ll be able to buy the ASICS x A.P.C. tennis line-up both online and in selected ASICS and A.P.C. retail outlets. Check out the collection in the gallery above for a sneak peek.
