ASICS to Debut the GEL-LYTE 3 OG “TRICO 2024” Sneaker

As a dedicated sneakerhead with years of experience under my belt, I am always on the lookout for unique and eye-catching designs that stand out from the crowd. The ASICS GEL-LYTE 3 OG “TRICO 2024” is a perfect example of such a design.

To kick off the initial unveil of ASICS’ 35th anniversary tribute for the GEL-LYTE III, renowned designer Hideyuki Kunii from mita sneakers and Herringbone Footwear has been brought on board by ASICS to bring a fresh, vibrant color scheme to life for the classic ASICS GEL-LYTE 3 OG.

The “TRICO 2024” design features a tricolor scheme with white, blue, and red as its dominant colors. The upper part primarily uses a leather material in a clean white tone. Blue suede covers the toe box area, creating a noticeable contrast against the rest of the shoe. Sky blue also appears on the outsoles but only at the top section.

As a fashion enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a soft spot for unique designs, I’m particularly drawn to footwear that stands out from the crowd. The description of this shoe model resonates deeply with me, as it showcases intricate details that add character and personality.

The heel sports a light red tag, and the “GEL-LYTE II” logo is subtly embroidered in gold on the sneaker’s side heels. At the shoe’s base, you’ll find the words “FAR EAST” visible through its transparent soles.

Starting on July 27, you can purchase the ASICS GEL-LYTE 3 OG “TRICO 2024” at mita sneakers and ASICS’ own retail outlets in Japan. Beginning July 29, these sneakers will also be sold on both brands’ online platforms.
