As a lifelong football enthusiast with a soft spot for Greek football history, I must say that Athens Kallithea FC‘s 24/25 away kit is a stunning tribute to their storied past. Growing up in Greece, I remember hearing tales of the team’s glory days and the nickname “England” resonating among fans.
As a diehard fan of Athens Kallithea FC, I’m thrilled to share that we’ve unveiled our 24/25 away kit! This reveal comes just before our long-awaited return to Greece’s top division after an 18-year absence. The Kappa-designed away jersey pays homage to the club’s roots, harkening back to when we donned white shirts and navy shorts, earning us the nickname “England.”
According to Ted Philipakos, the club’s president and creative director, we are consistently drawing on our past for reference. This allows us not only to honor our roots but also to find valuable motivation as we develop fresh ideas.
Drawing inspiration from the club’s rich past, the 2024-2025 away jersey boasts a crisp white exterior adorned with subtle grooves running across its entire surface. The collar is slightly enlarged and adds a touch of elegance to the team emblem, the classic Kappa logo, and the symbol of the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens in the club’s traditional navy hue.
In a brand-new setup, the club enlisted photographer Ethan White to photograph model Aws Bob Fakhari wearing the apparel at the popular skateboarding spot, Latraac, in Athens.
