Automobili Pininfarina Honors Cambiano Ties with New Special-Edition Battista

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for automotive masterpieces, I must say that the unveiling of the Automobili Pininfarina Battista at Monterey Car Week was nothing short of breathtaking. The attention to detail and respect for heritage embodied in this hyper GT is truly commendable.

At this year’s Monterey Car Week, Automobili Pininfarina concluded the event by revealing a custom-made Battista hyper GT, named “A Piece of Cambiano in California.” This distinctive vehicle was introduced as a tribute to Cambiano, Italy, the location where every masterpiece is carefully crafted. The brand chose this presentation to highlight its strong Italian roots and heritage.

As a gamer, I’d say, “The sleek Battista boasts a unique yet understated livery that showcases a map of Cambiano and a layout of its production line on the flipside of the active rear wing. This intricate pattern is mirrored on the custom door plates, adorned with ‘Where Everything Starts’ and ‘Fatto Con Amore in Italia’ (Made with Love in Italy), underscoring the car’s bond with its homeland.”

Beyond its aesthetic homages, the Battista model exhibits the customization possibilities offered by Automobili Pininfarina’s bespoke service for clients. The distinctive 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) concludes with ‘020’, a reference to Cambiano’s postal district, enabling the owner to incorporate a personal touch into the vehicle’s identification. The vehicle’s interior showcases an unprecedented “dogtooth” design in monochrome, a pattern reminiscent of the B95 barchetta show car, further elevating this unique hyper GT’s exclusivity.

Dave Amantea, as the Chief Design Officer at Automobili Pininfarina, expressed a sense of pride about the vehicle, saying, “The Battista occupies a truly unique spot in the hearts of every team member here. It showcases, with pride, the unrivaled elegance and craftsmanship that defines our design legacy.”

After its unveiling, the Battista was displayed at Automobili Pininfarina’s Newport Beach location, destined to become part of a select private collection.
