In the game Avowed, your initial treasure hunt, titled “The Painter’s Regret,” becomes available for you to embark on right from the moment you delve into the dismal and somber area known as Emerald Stair, inviting you to uncover its secrets.

The essential treasure map can be found concealed inside a house somewhere within the initial zone of the region. However, locating the actual treasure spot becomes quite straightforward after deciphering this easily comprehensible map.

Regardless, the hidden treasure becomes all the more elusive upon your arrival at the specified location, especially if you are relatively new to the game and have not delved too deeply into its exploration up until now.

To help simplify your adventure a bit, I’ll be sharing with you the exact spot where the treasure is hidden, a map to guide you there, and the exciting reward you’ll receive upon completing this thrilling treasure hunt.

Treasure Map Location

As a gamer, I saunter over to the vibrant and bustling Farmer’s Market nestled within Coastal Farms, conveniently situated at the entrance of Fior mes Iverno. From here, I choose to venture eastward, immersing myself in the sights, sounds, and scents that this lively market has to offer.

Instead, you could just go north from Elia’s Revenant Farm, provided you’ve previously found it, as an alternative route to the party camp.

Either way, make your preferred journey until you come across a locked farmhouse.

Instead of going through the locked front door of the farmhouse, try using the unlocked back door as an entry point instead.

In the heart of the room, I can’t help but notice the intriguing “Painter’s Regret” map, beckoning to be explored further.

Painter’s Regret Treasure Location

Fortunately, the treasure isn’t far off; it’s just around here, unlike the Earthly Aegis treasure hunt where it was way over yonder.

Let’s begin our adventure at the Wildwoods Outskirts Party Camp. If you haven’t discovered this camp already, simply travel westward from Fior mes Iverno’s entrance and continue along the path until you reach a bridge.

After crossing the marked bridge, keep following the path until you come across the campsite where the party is gathered. Notably, this very bridge that you’ve just crossed matches the one depicted on your treasure map.

From the gathering place, make your way southeast towards the river, then tread carefully as you descend the slope. You’ll eventually find a tiny hillside cavern that serves as a snug dwelling ideal for an artist. Search the cave’s chest to conclude your quest for hidden riches.

Treasure Hunt Reward

The prize for the Painter’s Regret treasure hunt isn’t an exclusive weapon or armor; rather, it’s a paintbrush. Given the context of the quest, it makes sense that such an item would be the reward.

This Painter’s Brush is quite special and has an added benefit to its charm. It provides you with the Critical Eye advantage, enhancing your chances of landing a critical hit by 5%.

If you’re a player who’s crafted your character around boosting your chances of scoring critical hits, the Paint Brush could be a fantastic accessory for your character, offering you lasting benefits.
