Awake NY x Badfriend Connect on Debut Capsule

As a die-hard New Yorker with roots deeply embedded in Latin culture, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as I witness the beautiful fusion of Awake NY and Badfriend. Being a connoisseur of both streetwear and soccer jerseys, this collaboration strikes a chord within me. The Liga MX-inspired soccer jersey is an absolute masterpiece, blending the essence of two coasts into one stunning piece.

Recently, Awake NY has been focusing on the West Coast. Following the launch of their collaborative graphic tee with UNION LA, this “uncompromisingly New York” brand is expanding its reach even further by teaming up with Badfriend, an outfit from Orange County, for their first-ever collaboration.

The cross-coast collaboration brings together the two brands, bonding over their shared Latin heritage, to create a unique soccer jersey for their special collection. Drawing inspiration from Liga MX jerseys, they’ve introduced two eye-catching designs – one in sharp black and white, the other bold red and blue – as co-branded kits, complete with sponsorship logos from Tequila Julio.

Additionally, Awake NY and Badfriend offer several designs for graphic t-shirts, hoodies, a stylish leather belt with a lock-buckle fastener, and a New Era 59Fifty hat embellished with intricate embroidery.
