As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for both virtual worlds and the real one, I can’t help but get excited about the latest drop from BAPE and adidas. Having grown up admiring the unique blend of Japanese streetwear and German athletic design, it’s always a treat to see these two giants collaborate.
Product Name: BAPE x adidas Orketro
For approximately two decades, BAPE and adidas have fostered a strong partnership, blending the aesthetic styles of their Japanese and German origins into a unified design. This year, they kicked off collaborations with the Stan Smith model, followed by the launch of N BAPE and an assortment with Damian Lillard to debut the Dame 9.
For Fall/Winter 2024, the duo returns with another collaboration on footwear, this time integrating BAPE’s iconic STA symbol onto the adidas Orketro. The team has curated three color schemes for this project, each featuring the star emblem on the side along with the label “A BATHING APE” inscription. This distinctive text is also found at the sockliner, accompanied by the brand’s APE HEAD logo. Color options include black and white, purple and magenta, and blue, yellow, and green combinations.
Currently, there’s no official announcement from either BAPE or adidas about the specifics of their upcoming Orketro colorway releases. Keep an eye out for news since they’re anticipated to become available next week, on November 15, through both adidas and selected retailers.
